You can quickly and easily control indoor water flow with this galvanized iron coupling by STZ Industries. Constructed from schedule 40 galvanized steel, this fitting has been hydrostatically tested and is built for long-term use. It withstands work pressure of up 300 PSI at 150 degrees F or 150 PSI at 300 degrees F. This coupling should be used with residential and light commercial water applications.
  • 100% pressure tested
  • Rated at maximum 300 PSI at 150 degrees F or 150 PSI at 300 degrees F
  • For use with residential potable drinking water applications
  • Galvanizing on fittings done by hot dip process, according to ASTM A153
  • Galvanized fittings are certified to NSF 61 and the lead free law

Is this rated to withstand heat from a forced hot water system? Pipe to water radiator, not steam pipe.

300 psi and 300 degrees F are the working limits. If your system is less than those limits, it will work.
