Q:Is this standard size for gas inlet for gas dryer?

Answer This Question

A: Typically, ½” black pipe is the size required to supply the gas dryer with enough gas for operation. A ½” gas valve is required at the appliance, then from the gas valve a flexible gas connector is required for hooking the dryer up to the gas supply. The pipe connection size at the dryer is usually 3/8” FPT.
