Can this be used without the flute part of the hood?
Hi Rymcdon, No, a 6” (15.2 cm) round vent system is needed for installation (not included with the hood). In addition, a flexible vent is not recommended. A flexible vent creates back pressure and air turbulence that greatly reduces performance. The vent system can terminate either through the roof or the wall. What is the filter specifications?
The hood uses a Baffle Filter, Leira. Dishwasher-safe metal filters help keep the air clean by drawing grease and odor through the hood.
