A:  Use a Scotts hand-held, drop or broadcast spreader to apply Scotts Turf Builder Rapid Grass. Spreading seed by hand is not recommended because getting uniform coverage is difficult.

Recommended by a friend and worked for me!
It's been 2 weeks since I seeded the lawn. I had germination after day 7! We have sandy loam here in southern Oklahoma. Very important to follow the directions. I spread the seed, covered with thin layer of pine needles (we have many pine trees) and watered twice daily.

Seed is great! Take the time to prepare lawn area.
Planted in northwest Kansas in mid April this year, grew in a bit spotty at first but has since filled in almost completely. I think its very key to evenly till your dirt, I used Sun Joe electric tiller twice on the lawn area. Also I wish I did a better job of watering evenly, as I feel it would have helped it grow more consistently. Over the seed has done great and held up through the dog and a few hail storms so far! Also have the same seed growing in front about a month behind.

                Terrible
This grass is terrible has yet to germinate temps have been in the 60s to low 70s. It has now been down for 14 days. By far the worst grass seed I've ever purchased.

                  Green Full Lawn
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a very good grass seed. It elevated the color in my back lawn to dark green. It also thicken my lawn and covered bald spots I have. It will be interesting to see what will happen during the heat and humidity of the summer since this product claims to protect against it. So far so good.

Amazing results in just 3 weeks
More than 1/2 of my large backyard lawn was dead. I took on the project to till, rake and replant it this fall. The 1st sprout appeared in just 6 days (we did have a ton of rain). I cannot believe the transformation in just 3 weeks. Pricey but worth it - I'm a believer! See pics of where it started and how it looked 3 weeks after planting and watering 2x a day.

                      Great Fast Setting Seed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After adding sprinklers for better coverage in a corner that has suffered for years, I used Rapid Grass seed with a turf-seed soil mix in the work area and on 'patchy' areas nearby. Photos are 23 days apart. I had the area roped off and constantly irrigated and only once very delicately cut some of the more established grass with a string trimmer. So staying out of the area, irrigation, and seed-to soil contact and time is the best recipe. I believe the fertilizer with this seed was very beneficial as well and a good bonus. Weather high was in 70's week 1, mid 60's week 2, then 80's week 3. The photos speak for themselves here!

                        Rapid Results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had great results with this product. I have four dogs that are constantly burning the grass with urine. Rapid Grass is the best product to get my grass looking green and perfect again without having to wait forever. With proper watering, I had new grass popping up within a couple of weeks. Definitely will use again and find it’s a great value for those of us who are impatient!

                          Exceeds my expectations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very satisfied with the performance of this product. After installing a paver walkway, the perimeter edge was bare soil/sand with a cement lip underneath. I applied this product along with soil conditioner on one section of walkway that is in full sun so I could verify its performance before applying it to the entire perimeter of the walkway. Application and maintenance are typical of what you expect with grass seeds and the directions on the packaging are clear and easy to follow. By the end of week 2, the grass was thriving, healthy and lush. I had a heavy downpour that washed away a section of the seed and fertilizer before it started to take take root and I reseeded that section when I applied the product to the remainder of the perimeter. This product required minimal effort for application and maintenance and the end result is a healthy looking grass that grew rapidly, exceeding my expectations.

                            Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Turf Builder Rapid Grass has a combination of tall fescue grass seed and fertilizer, providing an easy to use mix that takes out the guesswork. My lawn has some large bare spots and this is exactly what I needed to fill in those spots and make it look great. Directions are straightforward. Make sure you water daily. In about a week, I started to get grass sprouting and in about 2 to 2.5 weeks, the coverage looked really good. I like this product and had a successful experience.
