This is a newly developed ninety degree "Elbow" fitting. This is a 6-count multi pack. It is designed for "PEX TUBING ONLY" and it is "NON REMOVABLE" so you need to make sure you have everything cut and measured correctly before inserting it. It has a special Green Indicator Window that let you know it is connected fully and completely.
Overall a much more cost effective alternative to more expensive fittings. Just remember it is NON REMOVABLE and for PEX PIPE ONLY.

This review is for the SHARKBITE 1/2 IN. PUSH-TO-CONNECT EVOPEX PLASTIC 90-DEGREE ELBOW FITTING (6-PACK) I've used both the original plastic & brass Sharkbite connectors in the past and this new ver. looks to be an improvement as the connector will show green when it's put on correctly. The big thing to know is these connectors ARE NOT REMOVABLE as the others were (with their little C tool). The trick seems to be making sure you cut the tubing cleanly and squarely. The tubing can still be rotated once it's locked in, which can come in handy on certain installs. The connectors can be used with up to 200 deg. liquid. I am familiar with the standard SharkBite fittings so when I saw these, they peaked my interested. Most newer homes have PEX pipes and my house does as well. I actually needed to reroute my blowout valve for my sprinkler system, and it is ¾ inches. The elbow is much smaller than the standard fitting. The centers that fit inside of the pipe doesn’t move around like the other fittings. The best part, the fitting has a green indicator that shows when the fit is perfect.

The SHARKBITE 3/4 IN. PUSH-TO-CONNECT EVOPEX PLASTIC 90-DEGREE ELBOW FITTING (6-PACK) is a great product that can be used in many applications. Having a the SharkBite 90 degree elbow made the installation of an residential lawn irrigation system much easier and quicker. The push on connections have one major drawback, once the SharkBite is applied it is very difficult to disconnect.

Sharkbite made an underground capable fitting without the old way of trying to ground proof the older brass fittings. I've been using Sharkbites since they started and although it's more expensive than plain copper sweating, it takes much less time to simply push on a Sharkbite fitting, especially if you are a Pex fan over copper. I'll be using these for a new garden watering system and am glad I don't have to worry about ground proofing.

We wanted a utility sink in our shop, there has never been running water before; so new plumbing. I decided to go with pex piping for ease and to not have to mess with expensive time consuming copper. I had used traditional SharkBite fittings before on copper repair and found them to be amazing & easy to use so thought now was the time to use their EvoPEX fittings, along with PEX; on a new install. The area where I wanted the sink required both 90-degree elbows and coupling fittings. The push-to-connect fittings work just like that. They are straight forward, easy to use. I like the green indicator & you would hear a click and then see the green as stated. We turned on the water once plumbed for the first time and every time since with NO leaks. I appreciated no soldering, crimping, glue, going back to find a drip. Cut the desired pipe length and push-to-connect. My copper days are over! Try these you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend any of the SharkBite fittings based on the application you need them for.

Quick and easy is the only way to describe EVOPEX Plastic Fittings. They are made of high performance chemical resistant plastic polymer and stainless steel for a lifetime of use. The thing I like is the trim stainless steel callers that look clean and fit smoothly in drilled holes. Some people may think that a fitting that will only work with Pex tubbing is not smart, But most plumbing is Pex tubbing. SharkBite supply's a large variety of fittings for most any job. Sharkbite fittings are a plumber's dream come true. Sharkbite has allowed the homeowner to be able to do what historically required a plumber, not any more. DYI says it all. No longer do you need a truckload of tools. No longer do you have to buy expensive pipe and fittings. The tubing is easy to cut, comes in white, blue red. You can't go wrong. Installation and instructions on package.

Time saver. I have used shark bite products for many years now. I think both homeowners and professionals have finally accepted their quality and benefits to the end user. This item is great for permanent or temporary connections. Here, the packaging comes in a nice zip-lock bag that keeps the internals free of foreign matter. Prior to inserting the pipe into the fitting, I prefer to coat the pipe with a small amount of plumbers silicone lubricant. I also prefer to use a pipe cutter on the pipe to assure a perfect square fit as opposed to lopping it off with cutters. With these fitting, you push the pipe straight into the fitting until the green indicator shows.
