The 1/2 in. SharkBite Push-to-Connect PVC (Iron Pipe Size) End stop is the easiest way to cap PVC Pipe (Iron Pipe Size). Just insert the pipe and the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal. The White Collar side fits Sch. 40, 80, 120 PVC. My son in law is a big contractor who reccomended...
My son in law is a big contractor who reccomended using a shark bite as I had issues soldering a 3/4" pipe in wall with a plug . It leaked . I was going to retry soldering it after proper care but I decided to use shark bite plug, it was quick and easy but proper cleaning and cut off square first. However some plumbers won't use them.o
