About This Product
The 1/2 in. SharkBite push-to-connect no-kink 45°F multi turn hose bibb is the easiest way to install a new or replacement hose bibb. The valve is perfect for potable water and hydronic applications where a shut-off is needed. Using SharkBite fittings is the easiest way to join copper, CPVC or PEX pipe in any combination with no soldering, clamps, unions or glue. Just insert the pipe and the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal. Disassembly is just as fast using the simple disconnect tool so fittings and valves can be easily changed and reused. They can even be rotated after assembly for easier installation in tight spaces. I have hose bibs for my washing machine shut offs. Can I use these to replace them? I understand that I will have to remove the drywall for access to the copper supply lines.

What is the distance between the screw holes on the collar? Trying to determine if this can simply replace my existing setup without having to drill new holes in the side of the house, etc.

After this hose bibb is attached to a cooper pipe, will it stay stationary or spin without screws? Concerned it may spin since it will not be flush against a wall. Also if flush against the wall, how can I remove it later with no access from within home?

Push-to-Connect x MHT Brass Multi-Turn No Kink Hose Bibb you will need access to the release collar on the Hose Bibb. Im familiar with using the SharkBite style fitting with Pex and copper, can this be used with a PVC supply line?
Hi, The SharkBite 3/4 in. Brass Push-to-Connect x MHT Multi-Turn No Kink Hose Bibb will not connect to PVC pipe. We do make a transition coupling that will connect to PVC pipe on one end of the fitting. On the other end of the fitting you can connect PEX or Copper pipe. This will than allow you to connect the SharkBite 3/4 in. Brass Push-to-Connect x MHT Multi-Turn No Kink Hose Bibb. I've attached a link to the PVC transition fittings. How do you screw it to or otherwise secure it to brick? The holes are #4 and I can?t find anything that small

Foes it work for PEX A
Hi, The SharkBite 3/4 in. Brass Push-to-Connect x MHT Multi-Turn No Kink Hose Bibb will work with PEX-A as long as the PEX pipe has been tested to the (ASTM F876) standard. You will find that information printed on the PEX pipe. If it's SharkBite PEX-A pipe it will work with the SharkBite 3/4 in. Brass Push-to-Connect x MHT Multi-Turn No Kink Hose Bibb. Using on an outside insulated vinyl sided wall in Michigan. I have no way to isolate and drain for winter. Is this hose bibb safe to use?
