I have a GOULD I-T-E Indoor Loadcenter G1224ML1125. I need to replace a GFCI breaker QF-120. Is the Siemens QPF2N a suitable replacement?
The QF120A would be the approved replacement.
My question was about using this breaker in a box requiring a QP or QPH breaker. The answer I got was what I could use in a box needing a QAF or QPF. Is there a CI type that I can use in my box?
No you cannot use this type of breaker because your label on the panel door is not marked with types QAF or QPF then unfortunately the dual function CAFCI/GFCI breaker will not work. Without knowing the part# of your load center we cannot confirm which AFCI or GFCI breaker is accepted in your unit.

No this dual function breaker is for plug on neutral loadcenters if your panel designates QAF, QPF you can use the QFGA2, QFGAH2, HQFGA2 like Q120DF
Is this the breaker that has the Lock Out feature? If so, how does the homeowner go about resetting it?
Q120DFN does not have a lock out feature built into the breaker. If the breaker trips, you would move the handle to the off position and then move the handle to on position to energize the breaker.

20 Amp AFCI/GFCI Dual Function Circuit Breaker
The Dual Function Circuit Breaker combines Class A 5mA GFCI and Combination Type AFCI, protecting against both Arc Faults and Ground Faults. This, along with the new Self-Test feature, makes it the first in class in electrical safety for homeowners. The 2014 National Electrical Code (NEC) requires both Arc Fault and Ground Fault protection on kitchen and laundry circuits. Before the release of Dual Function Circuit Breakers, the only option to comply with this code was to pair an AFCI circuit breaker with a GFCI receptacle. The Dual Function Circuit breaker combines these 2 devices into once solution that provides both cost savings and less hassle in installation and maintenance. This is a win solution for everyone.
