Siemens Tandem AFCI breakers are the perfect solution to wiring made easier, allowing for smaller load center needs due to the combined position use. Trusted lug wire indicator flags are installed to show when load wires are correctly inserted into the lugs. Siemens CAFCI breakers are ideal for new construction and renovations, available in either Plug-On Neutral or Pigtail versions. The only difference is the Q2020AFCNP (P) ending means it comes in special retail packaging and the Q2020AFCN comes in standard packaging
What is the difference between the Q2020AFC and the Q2020AFCNP?
Q2020AFC is the QTA tandem AFCI combo breaker, Q2020AFCNP is the plug on neutral tandem AFCI combo breaker. Plug on neutral breakers can only be used in panels that are listed on the wiring diagram that they can accept plug on neutral breakers. The Siemens load center will list which breakers are compatible with the specific load center. Always refer to wiring diagram of said load center.
Will these breakers fit into the new SN4060B1200 panels?
Yes as that is what they were designed for. SN and PN panels have plug-in-neutral bars that this breaker requires.
Will this breaker work with my Siemens G3040L1200CU panel?
If your panel lists breaker types QAF and QAF2 or QAF2N then yes you can use QTAN type breakers.

The breaker is designed to protect against line-to-ground arcs, line-to-neutral arcs and series arcs to help protect your home from an electrical fire. AFCI's detect arcing faults (an unintentional arcing condition in a circuit) that standard circuit breakers are unable to detect.
