What is the diameter of the holes?
ZHomeDepot, this is McKenzie from Simpson Strongtie. the hole diameter is .563 the call out for fastners are 4 SDWS22312DBB, and 4 STN22 for each bracket. Thanks.
What is the shear strength of this bracket. Simpson Strong-Tie provide and allowable load for uplift when used with the required screws SDWS22xx
The APVST610 is only rated for uplift (tension). Installing in a manner other that what it was designed/tested for would be considered an altered installation.
