Product Overview

Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer with the AccuShot continuous power sprayer is a nonselective weed and grass killer that kills all types of weeds and grasses down to the root. It's formulated for spot treatment of weeds and grasses on patios, walkways and driveways; around flowers, shrubs and trees; and along fences and foundations. This formula is rainproof in 15 minutes-rainfall or watering after 15 minutes won't wash away effectiveness. Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer kills down to the root and delivers visible results in as fast as 3 hours. Plant new flowers, trees and shrubs in the treated area after just 1 day. When used as directed, Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer works the first time, every time! For best results, apply this ready-to-use spray during warm, sunny weather when the temperature is over 60 degrees. Completely cover the leaves of the target vegetation. Protect desirable plants with a piece of plastic or cardboard - if desirable plants are accidentally sprayed, wash with water immediately. Do not mow, cut or otherwise disturb treated vegetation for at least 7 days following application. Do not use on or around edible feed or food crops. Includes the AccuShot continuous power sprayer with an extendable wand that makes it easy to target the weeds or grass you want to kill. Refill sold separately (Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer) so you can use your sprayer again and again.
  • Use on driveways and walkways, and around fences, trees, flower beds, shrubs and other listed areas
  • Includes continuous power sprayer with extendable wand
  • Visible results as fast as 3 hours - replant new flowers, trees and shrubs the same weekend
  • Rainfall or watering 15 minutes after application will not wash away effectiveness
  • Guaranteed results or your money back - see product label for details

Tackles weeds in less time!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My latest product to review is Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer 2. This easy to use weed killer requires no mixing or measuring. The 32 ounce bottle has its own spray nozzle to spot treat weeds and works perfectly in small or tight areas of your flower or vegetable gardens. It is recommended to protect surrounding plants with a piece of cardboard or plastic. I noticed when I sprayed any unwanted vegetation, the leaves started turning yellow and wilted within 24 hours and the plant completely gone in about a week. Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer works on driveways, walkways, flower beds and around trees. It works best in warmer temperatures of 60 degrees and higher. I thought Spectracide did a really great job of killing weeds by not only eliminating the top part of the plant that is above ground, but it is also very effective in destroying the root.

    Kills Fast!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit I've used several popular brands of weed and grass killer but never have I been able to see results in such a short amount of time. Sprayed the weeds in my sidewalk and driveway only to come back and see them already dying a few hours later.

      Results will vary
I definitely did not see results as fast as advertised or even as other reviews mentioned. The brand acknowledges it does not kill everything by telling you to refer to the list, so definitely look at that first. I'm not sure how it can kill some vegetation while others in the immediate area survive, as seen in my after picture. One thing for sure is that sunlight is probably crucial to quick results since my backyard is shaded by multiple trees and it took six days with an additional gallon to see dramatic results. It shrivelled up the clovers in no time, but not even the normal grass. I initially purchased three gallons since I had plenty of spraying to do. It does work, but if you are looking for total annihilation like I was, you might want to do some more browsing and comparing of different brands beforehand.

Weed killing takes about three days. The battery pump is very useful. It operated flawlessly while spraying a large area. It provides a nice spray or a single flow. I always use inexpensive rubber gloves which I throw away after using. The price with the pump included is very reasonable. I have been using this product for several years and am always satisfied with the results.

I love this stuff! I normally buy Round Up but decided to give this a try. I had a large area of grass and weeds to kill. I sprayed pretty heavily the first time and then went back 2 or 3 days later and spot sprayed. In a about 5 or 6 days the grass was dead! It even killed honeysuckle vine. This product worked very well.

Awesome! Works Fast and Destroys Weeds
I've been a Round-Up and HDX user, but lost my backpack sprayer in the move to Texas. Loved the value pricing for the Spectracide with the built-in sprayer and it turned out to be a home run. The sprayer works effectively and doesn't require any effort to get going. The weeds I sprayed turned brown in less than an hour and were dead within 24 hours. Two weeks later, the weeds are still gone and my son so loved the results, he is now using at his home. Great Value Buy!!

Weed killing just got a whole lot easier!
The 1.3 gallon Weed and Grass Accushot Sprayer just made weed killing a whole lot easier and is perfect for the typical lazy yard worker. You dont have to pump or anything - the battery operated spraying system does all the work for you. Just pick which nozzle you'd like to spray from (fan, straight shot etc), aim, and pull the trigger. No more pumping involved!
