The Square D 125 Amp 16-Space 24-Circuit Outdoor Combination meter Socket and Main Breaker Load Center is suitable for use as a combination service entrance device (CSED). This unit is ANSI certified and UL listed with a maximum 10,000 AIR. The combination service entrance device features a Ring-type meter cover with a single-phase, 4-jaw meter socket. It is suitable for overhead or underground service applications. Meets EUSERC Specifications. Surface mount. This CSED is built with a plated, aluminum bus bar that is tested and listed only for Homeline circuit breakers. Homeline CSEDs are designed for the value-minded contractors, remodelers, builders and homeowners. Homeline CSEDs are engineered for fast installation and wire savings.

Excellent unit for an expansion project or a solar installation. My intention was to use the unit for a solar power installation on our new build garage / shop project. By the unit having a built in opening for a meter it would allow me to install a readily available analog meter for comparison purposes with the digital meters monitoring power usage on the solar equipment. It also gave me the ability to totally isolate the solar power or isolate individual circuits. Very handy indeed! The unit itself is built to Square D's high standards. I can pretty much install it and forget about it as it will surely outlive me barring any natural catastrophe. Circuit breakers are inexpensive and can be found most anywhere.

Square D Homeline 200 Amp 12-Space 12-Circuit Outdoor Ringless Overhead/Underground Main Lug CSED
This is truly a heavy duty load center, it weighs 34.5 pounds. The steel walls can take a lot of abuse.
Outdoor Combination Meter Socket and Main Lug Load Center (A main lug type load center does not have a main circuit breaker ) and is suitable for use as a Combination Service Entrance Device (CSED).
This CSED is Rain Proof and has two lock out points, one for the breakers and one for the main Lugs.
There is a removable cap if you want to run your service in from the top and knockouts on the bottom if you want to run it out the bottom.

I chose this panel because i had a well to hook up to it and plan on adding a RV plug to it outsi...
I chose this panel because i had a well to hook up to it and plan on adding a RV plug to it outside. It has the channel to the top so it made it easy to run the conduit out the top into the soffit of the porch. The pass thru was easy to use and the large wires had ample room to hook up easy.

Great for outdoor add on items
This meter disconnect is great to install plus it has the main 200A breaker with space for future outdoor circuits. If you need pool or hot tub even outdoor lighting it's all right at the enclosure.
