Answer This Question

Hi The panel is only rated for 125A. You can change it to a lower amperage but you can't go over the rated amperage of 125A. Warm Regards, Schneider Electric Customer Care.

Bought this HOM2448BL125 and there isn’t an option to get rid of this romex connector system. Bought it for a shop and am running conduit. It needs an option to remove this system. If I was running romex I still wouldn’t want this option

                  Perfect Subpanel
It came with everything including the ground bars. I needed to install a line for a second dryer in the basement but didn't have enough space left in main, so moved the original dryer 30 amp from main box to this subpanel and added another 30 amp for the new dryer. I then added an 80 amp to the main in it's place to power the subpanel. This worked great for my needs. Couldn't find 15 amp single pole, so had to get a tandem even though I had plenty of space. I eventually found them.

This sub panel was very easy to install. Now everything in the new room addition is on this panel , kitchen, walk thru pantry, and laundry/ mud room. Just having a beer waiting for the electrical inspector to come.

                    Misleading labeling
I just returned an 8 space 16 circuit Square D panel. I now know that the number of circuits a SquareD Homeline series panel can be used for is only possible using their tandem breakers where two circuits can be squeezed into one space. In my opinion this is misleading. One, their own QO series only counts one circuit per space, Two, there is almost no new installations where you can use a tandem breaker and pass inspection because SquareD does not have tandem breakers that are AFCI or GFCI. And to add insult to injury they give you a couple of single pole breakers with a panel box knowing good and well that if you used even one of those the claimed number of circuits would be incorrect.
