I plan to have a 5.5kW solar panels installed. Would this main panel handle it or I need higher ...

The reason these breaker panels are called "solar ready" is because you can easily add a lug (the SR69064A terminal kit) to the line side connection. Therefore, no back-fed breaker is necessary, and talk about derating the main is irrelevant. However, if you DID want to put in a back-fed breaker, yes you would be allowed up to 40A (20% of the 200A main) as long as it was placed on the opposite end of the bus bar from the main. You are wasting your money upgrading fro 100-125amp. Labor is the same and usefulness in today’s electric society exponentially better going to a 200 amp panel. You will have more future capacity and space for many more breakers, so more circuits

Item headline says semi-flush, so unless it's one of those panels that are set up for multiple mounting configurations, I'd guess semi-flush. You may want to just pick up in person to ensure it's the model you need.

I replaced my old GE 125 amp panel with this unit because I am having a solar system installed and my old panel only had space for only two 2 pole breakers. I chose to go with this 125 amp panel so I would not have to dig up and install a larger conduit for the utility feed. However, should I need to increase to 200 amps in the future, the panel is bussed for 225 amps so panel will not need to be upgraded, only the service feed and breaker. This semi-flush panel also had a few knockouts on the outside. This was handy as I had existing conduit going to the pool pump and it was easier to connect to the outside bottom of panel than the original installation where they had to break out stucco and stub a connector under panel on inside of wall. I also liked the fact that Square D makes a surge protector that plugs in the space of a two pole breaker for a clean installation.

200 amp / 30 space / 40 circuit
This all-in-one panel was used to replace an old 100amp panel with the same depth and width dimensions. However, the height difference was notably higher in comparison to the old panel. My biggest concern was meeting height requirements for OCPD (6'-7" AFF max), as it was getting inspected. Debate between the 30 and 20 space options were of focus in efforts of maintaining and re-using the existing lateral (underground) conduit feeder and 1/0AL wire - while also maintaining appropriate overall height requirements. After reviewing the specs on both options, the 30 space panel was too hight, while the 20 space was just right. My recommendations are to review this information thoroughly prior to installation. All in all, this panel suited my expectations just right. The overall structure and intergrity of the panel is spot on, if not perfect. The bottom right compartment (under the meeter section), paired w/ a tunnel pass through, made it easy and possible for bottom fed branch circuits.

Square D is starting to be one of the only manufactures that make a side by sidebreaker top part of panel (more room for wiring) and still doing it at a reasonable price.
