It's built with a plated, aluminum bus bar that's compatible with Square D Homeline circuit breakers. These breaker boxes are designed for fast installation and wire savings. This breaker is fully distributed and UL listed for residential and commercial power distribution.

Bouth this to replace a 20 space/40 circuit panel in an older home i bought last year. The panel only had one space left and was mostly filled with tandem breakers. It was time for an upgrade. My electrical back ground is non existant other than running a couple outlets in the house. But im willing to try just about any project.
I was worried about the panel not having a ground bar like others had mentioned initially. However, after talking to the homedepot electronics guy, realized i didn't need it. I have another 200amp breaker at the pole outside. its grounded there and i have 3 wires comming into my house into my 200amp indoor panel. Two hot and one neutral. So all of the grounds and neutral wires from the breakers go on the same bar. Granted my old box was wired like this, i just wanted to make sure no corners were cut. I found that this box had a much better layout than the one i replaced, really easy to work in. The only negative i would have to say, is that the 1/2" knockouts in the top seem too close together when working with the wire clamp fittings. But with a little finess, i was able to make it work. Total time was 8 hours start to finish (not including the 35 min one way trip back to homedepot for the stuff i forgot...fail). Im sure someone who knows what they are doing can do it faster and prettier, but thought it looked good for a rookie.

Panel lock outs were hard as heck to knock out....
Panel lock outs were hard as heck to knock out. Had to drill them and buy a knockout punch. Defeated the pourpose. And that was with each panel as I bought 2! I had to pound out the holes and it bend the panel. Then I had to drill holes next to each of the pre cut/solid metal in order to knock them out with a step bit. I saved -$54 per panel as I had to go buy a knockout kit and several unibits and drill bits. My video won’t post
