Because of the shortage of double pole breakers because of Covid, I have had to resort to using two single pole breakers and tying them together with the handle ties. They work perfectly!

Newer codes do not allow the use of handle ties for breakers. In a pinch they work but because Schneider is short on inventory you gota do what you gota do.

It seems every manufacturer has their own unique breaker tie....
It seems every manufacturer has their own unique breaker tie. That said, for the cost of a breaker, these little chunks of metal should be included. Nevertheless, they do what they're supposed to do.
