I would buy the 250, its not that much more money and one can use them up, its more that 1 screw per squeak. I screwed every 4-6 inch as it should of been installed in the first place.
A joist is what holds your floor up and subsequently what your floor is nailed or screwed into. So no, the answer is no.
The squeeek no more screws are designed to tighten the sub floor to the floor joist. If this is a floating floor these screws will afix the laminate to the sub floor and no longer be floating for expansion. If the laminate is atttached to the sub floor I think these screws might work as long as you are able to go through laminate and the sub floor into the floor joist.
Super easy to do it yourself. You get a power drill... Drill a screw half way into the carpet...If it goes all the way through, just bring the screw back up. Keep trying until the screw hits the wood. You will feel it, you cant go wrong. Once you find the wood you just drill it half way, the screw will just sort of stop going when its up to the right spot. Once you are done drilling the screws in, grab a hammer and knock off the tips. Recommend putting blue or green tape or any kind of tape, as a reminder to yourself where your screwed these in. Depending on how thick your carpet is, they could get lost in there and if you step on them it'll hurt. Take it from me. YOU GOT THIS!
Only the 50pk comes with a tool to remove the tops. I end up using a hammer and makes the process so much faster.
It does not. They sell the kit separately with a small number of screws. We had to buy this box as our repair needed more screws than came with the repair tool itself.
You can purchase a Sqeeknomore kit at Home Depot,or they will order it for you if you ask
Yes, that's what I did when I purchased the box of 250. keep in mind that the bit was not included
