So happy! The price I had been quoted for treads...
So happy! The price I had been quoted for treads like this was at least quadruple what I paid on HD. Treads were very well packaged and arrived undamaged albeit weeks later than originally promised (still worth the wait though). My biggest issue is that some were 3 boards together and some were 5. I ordered extra to have options and I was glad I did because I sent back all the busier ones. The return was pocket holed and glued, the front just glued. I had to remove some of the trim and they were very well attached. They sanded beautifully and I sealed them with water based poly. I have liked how the color has aged over the last 4 months. I found better dimensions on the Stairtek website than on HD. Highly recommend if you are looking for a more modern oak tread. Company was good to work with when I had annoying shipping delays.
