Does this control panel come with internal Temp sensor making the external temperature sensor optional
Hello! The temperature sensor on the Dual Touch Panel Control System is not integrated to the body of the control panel. Rather, it is a cable that connects to the back of the panel and will need its own separate hole. This is ideally placed on a separate wall from the steam outlet, 4-5 Ft. off the floor ( may be right above or below the control panel. I purchased this product and recently installed it and it lights up but it shows all 8's and is unresponsive. this state isn't mentioned in any literature and there's no troubleshooting instructions for testing. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Was this supposed to come with a temperature sensor? Instructions implied that the sensor was only needed if the control panel was mounted outside the shower enclosure, but after hooking everything up, the temperature reads 0.
