1) Suncast does not list this item on their register for warrantyy website. 2) Thei online PDF instructions provided by Suncast does not address how to prevent their short hose from popping off the base.

This made dealing with our hose much easier and simpler...
This made dealing with our hose much easier and simpler for a good price. The only complaint I have is that it would be nice if the wheels locked. I mainly use this on deck so it moves very easily when I’m winding/unwinding. Still, for the price, not bad to make life easier!

Hose reel
This hose reel is great with just one drawback for me. You have to be extremely careful when reeling out your hose became the hose is connected to a plastic connector that will break loose rending the hose reel useless.

Garbage, cheaply made. Broke on second use.
The connection on the side of the real that connects to the faucet is held on by a flimsy plastic clip. It popped off while I was using it the second time. The real was stationary at the time. I was able to put it back on, but now it pops off as soon as I turn the water on. This was a complete waste of money.

Hose leaked right on installation
I attached this to the included hose and found it had multiple holes in it the very first time I hooked it up! Very poor quality.
I hope the rest of it is better nade than the connecting hose.

Plastic junk
Put a 100' hose onto the reel and it broke the center drum in half from the weight of the hose. This plastic junk might as well be made of glass. I've only had it for 5 months...maybe Home Depot will take it back so I can get my money back.

Not as good as it looks
Had it in the shade and it broke within a year. Worked well when it wasn't broken but like I said it didn't last long.

Hot summer
Bought this in May. After the hot summer this is what it looked like. Worked good till it melted. I guess I will buy o e made of steel next time.
