Q:What does the 6000 Sq ft FL mean on the bag?
by|Oct 19, 2021

Answer This Question

A:  The 6,000 sq. ft. coverage in Florida is a result of the State of Florida recommending reduced Nitrogen Input per sq. ft. This coverage rate would be 3/4 lb of Nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. vs 1lb. I Hope this Helps and Thank You for your Support.

Q:Is this safe to use on a pineapple plant?
    by|Aug 7, 2021
    1 Answer
    Answer This Question

A:  Yes you can fertilize your pineapple using a 6-6-6 fertilizer make sure the fertilizer blend has 4 to 6% Magnesium (Mg) in the blend also. The magnesium should help with the yellowing on the arms. Use 1/2-1 lb. of fertilizer every eight weeks It is also might be that the pineapple plant might need to planted in the ground, using compost mixed with soil or mulch can be used to keep soil moist between waterings, keep the mulch 8 to 12 inches from the base of the plant to prevent pests from moving and to keep the air circulating. I hope this information has been helpful. Thank you!

Q:Did Home Depot stop carrying Milorganite and are now carrying Sunniland? Is this the same as Milorganite? Milorganite is always not in stock in any HD in my area for months but other stores do carry it.

        6-4-0 great
April skip mow for stolon type turf. Clumping type very little experience (assume your weeds will need pulling or bagged as the skips are alternated). Skip cut on Max height. Skip equals uniform lines of cuts no cuts every week during growing season. My preference is to just cut 2500 sq ft in less than 5 mins. I inform my neighbor, ha! The smell is tough yet subsides after a week. Note: if there are a lot of weeds and the soil base is sandy work with the weeds on a similar program (in short allow the weeds to grow and die as a compost base. It works, promise, the order will be creeping type, death, clumping type, death, stolon type death. Each creating compost (future seeds too!!!) and structured soil. I understand the urgency for an instant lawn, ha! Very patient with the stolon’s advantage to weave into everything even shrubbery. Long post just paying it forward thanks HD (the other company was two bucks lower tho!!!) Do not buy extra of this stuff unless five gallon bucks with lids are purchased! Applying per direction please. I prefer to apply half by skip fertilizing, staying high on slops and knowing my runoff rate throughout the yard (Ie water filled buck with hole at base). If stolons are curling up off the lawn the soil is crowded or too loose. Get on a program of clip and replant in weeded areas before mowing. The weed and feeds I have found is initially counter to this whole program (I work with the weeds). Late in the year preventing future germination is my program. Weeds always die naturally 6-4-0. Boosting the “zero” in fertilizers promotes flowering then seed production (recalling weeds purpose). At least from what I have noticed. Before a heavy rainy season I used less fertilizer, after one season I top dress with compost, and side chute clippings. No more skip cutting. Making sure to alternate blade height max to minimum (turf specific!!! My st. Augustine range 6”-3.5”...yes weed eater/wacker/trimmer) for dollar spot. Remember weeds die naturally and stolon types weave into everything. Edging or taking a machete to the lawn for stolon type? Absolutely, asphalt cooks the edge and creeping turf (although a program of mine) can be wasted away if not incorporated back in the yard. With the other half of my product growing stuff for food. A lot of mulch. Story for another day. Thank you. Be blessed.

The package should indicate the incredible smell that it has once spread. Neighbors were complaining. since I just used it a few days ago, I need to give it time to see the results.......I hope it was worth it.
