Works amazing right out of the box. Everything you want in a popcorn machine. You could not ask for a better presentation!It’s gorgeous and it makes great popcorn. Pops mushroom kernels perfectly as well as butterfly. Price is perfect as well. You won’t regret it!

It was easy to put together and clean and the popcorn was excellent.

So far, it's great! Everyone at the school is loving it. The only drawback is the clean up - Not too difficult, but not too easy either.

Our popcorn maker worked for 3 hours 9am-12pm. It sat unused until 5:30pm, popped popcorn, and stopped working at 7:00pm. We let it sit to cool down, but that wasn’t it. The heating element button kept automatically shutting off. We returned our popcorn maker after a total of 5 hours use.

We had a used Cretors corn popper for about 20 years (I was told it came out of the KC ballpark). What’s interesting is that corn poppers are extremely popular with the kids and grandkids. This was the first thing the grandkids wanted to do when they visited was make a big batch of popcorn. We use coconut oil, and this allows the popcorn to still taste good days after you make it. When we moved from Iowa, I gave the popper to one of my daughters. I missed it myself, so got this one. Desired manufacturing changes. 1. The inside floor of the unit rests on a flange around the perimeter, but leaves about an 1/8” gap all around the walls. In addition, it springs up off the flange about a 1/16”. This makes it harder to clean. I’m thinking about getting a food safe caulk, and seal this up. Two screws hold the floor in place, so they could be removed for cleaning. 2. I wished the Old Maid feature (perforated floor) was larger. Our Cretors had at least twice the surface area. 3. A “Y” shaped scoop instead of cup shaped scoop is much handier. The flat surface on the “Y” shaped unit makes it easier to stir the popcorn over the Old Maid perforations, and allows you to pull popcorn away from the edges. These are available separately, and I’ll buy one. Other comments: 4. The doors are tempered glass, which is nicer than some units that have plastic doors 5. The kettle is stainless steel (both inside liner and the outer covering). On our older Cretors, the inside kettle appeared to be cast iron (always dark gray and very heavy like the old iron frying pans). Hard to make the cast iron look clean. This one cleans up nice. 6. The kettle heats up fast. I’m only making half size batches so far, and it works very good for that. All in all this is a good corn popper for the money. I was hoping some of above comments might be picked up by the manufacturer to make a good unit even better. Keep in mind the Cretors popper I was comparing is considerably more expensive.
