I've owned this rug now for just about a year so I thought it would be helpful to write a review on how well it holds up. When I purchased the rug, I thought it was a great price for the size and also loved that it would be easy to clean because of the stain-resistant quality. I don't have kids but I do have a dog so I thought that would be helpful. I've given this one star because it is indeed stain-resistant and very easy to clean.
It wasn't the softest rug to begin with, which I expected and was willing to live with for the price but I did however expect it to hold up far better than it has. After a year of normal use, this rug looks like I've owned it for 5 years! It is completed matted down despite my frequent rotating of the rug as well as vacuuming (every other day!). Because it is so matted, dirt, crumbs, and debris get stuck in it and even my dyson vacuum won't suck it up, it just gets trapped in there forever. Very gross for a clean freak like me. I included a pic that shows how matted it is even after just vacuuming.
I would not recommend this rug for anyone looking to keep a rug for a year or more. I would have been better off buying a higher quality and more expensive rug that would last me years to come.

This shag rug is a gorgeous, bright orange color and has a nice, soft feel. It initially had a chemical smell to it but that dissipated after a few days. I would definitely buy again. The delivery was super quick also.
