Purchased 5 x 24packs for our building to replace CFL bulbs. Used so far about 80 of the bulbs and I was expecting in a bulk order for a couple bulbs to be dead but pleasantly surprised that all worked. I hope that's a good sign that they will last at least the rated hours if not longer. They are used on light fixtures that are ON 24/7. Although the lumens rated 50-100 less than the CFL bulbs they replaced, they actually look the same if not perhaps slightly brighter. Also the warm 2700k color temperature appears identical to the CFL bulbs.

I got this 24 pack of Ecosmart LED bulbs to replace every traditional A19 bulb inside and outside of the house. I like conserving energy and saving money! Who doesn't!?! The LED bulbs only use 8.5 Watts each versus their 60 Watt incandescent equivalent and they have a nice 2700 kelvin (soft white) color temperature. They put out less heat as well. I found that in some applications, for example in a wall sconce, these bulbs aren’t optimal though. The opaque housing, which hides the circuitry goes halfway up the bulb and reduces the amount of light cast from the lower quadrant. It is noticeable in some cases. Given the amount of circuitry housing, I’m surprised these are non-dimmable, but I knew that before ordering them. With a 10 year average life at 3 hours a day, I’m sold on these to save money over the long run.

The 24-pack is a VERYcost effective way to purchase LED bulbs for your house. These bulbs produce 800 lumens and have a 3-year warranty. I got these to use in places where I don't use the lights as much and have been pleased with this purchase. Note these are NON-DIMMABLE. The newer LED's with filaments use less wattage, but at the price per bulb for this package I would bet this still comes out as a winner! Also note that it takes more wattage to drive a "frosted" bulb to produce the same lumens at a clear bulb. When I compared the projected cost per year on the boxes of the filament versus these older style bulbs, it came out to be a difference of a whooping $0.12/year. So again, no biggie !! Interesting, one of the 60 watt incandescent bulbs I replaced was rated at 660 lumens, to these bulbs are brighter. I am testing these bulbs on my garage door opener and will monitor to see if there is any impact. There are some write-ups about some LED's can cause interference with the signal ... but one article said to look for bulbs that had the marking "This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: 1.) This device may not cause harmful interference, and 2.) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation."

You get what you pay for....most lights are lasting about 1.5 years then dying out
I bought these lights for a new basement remodel and the lights have been in place for about a year. About 5 out of the 24 bulbs have now gone bad during that time period. It seems that the lights last about the same length of time as a traditional light bulb. The cheap price is great, but buyer beware, these bulbs do not last as indicated.
