The Works 1-1/4 in. FIP x FIP Brass Threaded Full Port Ball Valve is designed to control the flow of a variety of liquids, oils, and gases. It is ideal for both residential and commercial use. The full port design ensures maximum flow with minimal pressure drop. Made of solid forged brass, this valve is built to last. With a single 90° turn, you are able to shut off the supply safely and securely. The pressure rating for this valve is 600 WOG.

A:  Yes, it works fine with PVC threaded fittings. Make sure you use MPT (tapered) PVC fittings and not parallel threaded fittings. Also use teflon tape and snug the connection well with a wrench.

      The handle is red not yellow as shown in the illustration. Yellow is the color that indicates a gas valve. Red indicates water or hot water. Thus there will be confusion. So I had to create a label tag to put on the valve so the customer would know the valve controls gas. Extra work equals extra cost
