Product Overview

Filtration is a critical component in any water garden since it promotes a healthy and ecologically stable pond environment. TotalPond's Complete Pond Filter with UV Clarifier is a pressurized biological filtration system with an integrated UV clarifier. This natural and complete garden pond stabilizing system cleans pond water while adding essential bacteria needed for a healthy aquatic environment. Ultraviolet technology is used in ponds to eliminate microscopic organisms that end up becoming those dreaded algae blooms. The addition of the UV Clarifier gives an extra step of clean to this filter; the water passes over the ultra violet bulb, cleaning the green out of water. This filter is recommended for ponds up to 1200 gallons and can be placed either in the water or outside of it.
  • The Complete Pressurized Pond Filter with UV Clarifier is ideal for removing debris and improving water quality in or out of ponds up to 1200 gallons.
  • Your pump (not included) works with the filter to mechanically clean your pond; the bio-balls biologically promote the growth of beneficial bacteria; the UV Clarifier cleans the green out of the water.
  • The pressure in this filter helps keep the water moving quickly, not giving debris a chance to settle in your pond.
  • The Complete Pressurized Pond Filter with UV Clarifier includes 1 coarse black filter, 1 fine blue filter, bio-balls, and a 9W UV Clarifier.
  • It can work with additional filters for maximum cleaning efficiency.

Fully recommended. Five days and the pond has crystal clear water again !! My pond was dark from algae and dirt, and you can see the change in 48 hours, plus I combined it with a water clarifier to improve the result. Now you have to clean the filter every 3-4 weeks to keep the water crystal clear.

Didn't do anything to my pond, I have the filter and pump running 24 hours for the last 5 days but the water is still green. I am going to wait another week and if it doesn't change the water quality, I'll return this filter. I checked the UV bulb but no luck.

    Lid leak.
Same as some of the other reviews here, ours started leaking at the lid. Woke up to a half empty pond. I think it’s one of the seams where the unit is put together, but even after a close inspection with a flashlight I can’t find what must be a tiny pin sized leak. Avoid this product.

The product is excellent if it's not in the sun I've had to replace two of them the sun warms them now if you build your pond where it actually goes in the water that works also but because of the ultra electric filter on it it's best to be on the outside so I have put Fiberglass Mountain around it with a back entrance which seems to work well do not have in the direct sun the top warps just enough to have water spraying everywhere and needless to say your pie and we'll go dry the water spray is not in the direction of the pond..

      Works great!
The lid is some what hard to open because it large and (slippery after being in the pond) I had a slight problem with the seal, but used a vasoline and no more problem. Cleared my 800-900 gallon pond all summer. It does float so I would stick it under my make shift bridge. I would not put it outside of the pond for fear of it leaking. The only real complaint is that Home depot does NOT sale the replacement bulbs.

Broke at the seam after 6 months use
This unit broke at the seam after 6 months use. Also, filter is very difficult to remove from filter housing. I am a 15 year fish pond builder and owner. Lots of experience with fish pond filters. However, very happy to buy again from Home Depot. They stand behind their products.
