I need to reattach a corner of T-111 siding to brick. Will this work?

The nails originally used to attach the T-111 on the addition to my house to the original brick structure let go in 1 corner.
Asked by: Ab2016
It should. I use them to mount ID Plates to the floor in a warehouse. The forklift operators have broken the ID Plates by dragging the pallets on the floor but the anchors have not broken as of yet. I did the original mounts around 2 years ago.

Tapcon 3/16 in. x 2-1/4 in. Phillips-Flat-Head Concrete Anchors (75-Pack) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 294.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from The drill bit that comes with the screws is too... The drill bit that comes with the screws is too large and the screws kept turning and not biting into the substrate. After that drill bit broke, I switched to a Bosch bit of the same size. The holes ended up being slightly smaller in diameter and the screws worked perfectly and were very secure.

I prefer the smaller hole as opposed the compression anchors or whatever the other common option is called. I don’t imagine these are quite as strong, but should still be enough for most loads.

The screws are good, but the bit that was packaged with the screws was the wrong size; about 1/32" too big in diameter. I had to use some older masonry bits from my collection in order to complete my project.
