The Toro 570 Variable Arc Nozzle (VAN) (2-Pack) fits any Toro 570Z Series pop-up body or shrub adapter (both sold separately). It is color-coded for easy radius identification. This matched precipitation rate (MPR) nozzle provides 15 sq. ft. of coverage and features a fully adjustable watering pattern from 0°-360° to customize the exact coverage needed for each specific location.

A: Yes, they can be turned all the way to zero to effectively stop spraying temporarily, however they are not meant to hold pressure they will leak and may eventually pop out. If you are hoping to use them for off season shut down they are not designed for that.

A: They are not designed to shut of completely. I haven’t tried personally and I am not aware of testing we have done to determine this functionality. My best guess is that it would not turn “off” and be leak-free.

Answer This Question

A: Our shortest radius adjustable nozzle is model #53736. The max radius for this nozzle is 8’, but the radius can be reduced by tightening the small screw on the top-center of the nozzle. You should be able to maintain a consistent pattern down to at least 6’.
