are these okay for 14 gauge wire

I would have to say it depends upon what voltage you plan on running if you're talkin about low voltage for audio or something like that then it would be fine but with the fat guy has no insulation and the points of connection I really shawty you almost went to solder and together when you get done from being down

Is there a hole in this clip where I can slip a nylon filament wire in?

No the backside of the clip where you're wire will attach has wing out the face each other and you crimp them down onto the wire

Barely did the job. If need to do a lot...
Barely did the job. If need to do a lot of connecting then, get better clips. I only needed 2 of these for 1 small job.
