Natural non-toxic FDA grade translucent polyethylene tubing. Economical and lightweight, used for pneumatic control lines and liquids in industrial applications. Also use for water and water softener lines. Resistant to many solvents, acids, alkalis and gases. Excellent choice for use with ice makers.

Q:Will it rupture if water inside freezes. (i.e. water supply line outside. ) It says operating temperature is down to -40�F. That is why I'm asking.

A:  If water freezes inside a tube or pipe, then it will burst. I have seen many metal water pipes break, and even a fire hydrant broke.

    A:  Propane pressure is related to the temperature which can range from 0 PSI at -45 F degrees and 257PSI at 130 F degrees which exceeds the rating of this tubing. The pressure relief valve on a propane tank is 312PSI which is about 140 to 145 F degrees.
