Grown by United Nursery, the large shinny leathery leaves of the Ficus Lyrata create a striking architectural display in any home or office. Commonly known as the fiddle leaf fig because its large leaves resemble a fiddle (or violin), the Lyrata enjoys bright indirect light indoors. With adequate growing conditions and care the Fiddle Leaf Fig will branch With time to create an elegant small to medium size indoor tree.

The decorative pot doesn't allow my fig to "breathe" and I'm getting mold in my soil and on the bottom of my nursery pot. But overall the fig is beautiful.

    Just got this one, well packed but the leaves are full of black spot, and one leaf fallen, the branch is also has several dark soot andnot straight. Very disappointed, not sure if I can make it alive.

      I received my healthy Ficus and was shocked at the size it was quite large with huge leathery beautiful leaves.. I water it every 1.5weeks thoroughly and spray it down with water every couple of days.. I did loose some bottom leaves but that happens sometimes of course.. I gave 4 stars due to the spiders I can't seem to get rid of... They're not spider mites they look like regular outdoor spiders I'll probably spray a pesticide soon.. Other than that Id recommend it..

        Unhealthy Plants
        The plant arrived well packaged, unfortunately, it was very dusty, with many cobwebs on the stems, and leaves full of black spots. I reached out to United Nursery first and provided pictures for a resolution but I have yet to receive a response with a solution. I would caution you and ask that you think twice before buying from this provider. The price may be fair but the plant is not one that is healthy and will die within weeks, if not days. Don't waste your time.

          arrived with Yellow leaves and brown spots underneath

                    The ficus lyrata arrived in good condition since it was packaged very securely. When the plant first arrived, it was full and appeared healthy. I cleaned and quarantined the plant for about a week before I placed it amongst my other plants to avoid any pest contamination. Unfortunately, the plant has not been doing well at all. I've only watered the plant once since it arrived on Oct 8th, however, it is showing signs of root rot or bacteria (see spots on picture attached). This was not a good purchase at all. Any possibility for a refund/return?

                      I bought my fiddle leaf fig in late July 2020, around the same time as other reviewers had issue with the leafs turning brown from the outside in. Mine was the same. The packaging and shipping was good, but the leaves were full of soil when it arrived. It seemed like the box had been thrown around a bit. My plant had two new growth, smaller leaves on the top. It didn’t take, but a few days to a week for the leaves to turn brown with disease, followed by them falling off the stalk. A few of the leaves had broken spots on the center when the plant arrived. They turned brown quickly as well. I followed the directions left by the company to another reviewer—I emailed them, provided pictures and my order number, but I heard nothing back. Wasted money for sure...

                        arrived diseased and never improved
                        I will call time of death: September 16, 2020, 11:10 a.m. I have another picture of this plant shortly after arrival, with the tips of the leaves black. This picture is today, the stem now black and I assume root rot. I repotted it and there was a section without roots, so I wonder if someone at the nursery tried to remove the rotted roots and sent it anyway, hoping it would heal. It didn’t. I read up on soil moisture and made sure to not over- or under-water. No success.

                          Let down
                          BEYOND in love with this plant. it came beautiful and was all i could hope for. however about a week later i noticed its leaves were turning black. I had misted the plant and maybe watered it once. panicked and repotted it thinking it had root rot- soil was not soaked at all. now it’s actively dying along with my heart. after researching online I believe it came with a bacterial infection- so so so sad.

                            Diseased plant
                            I bought 2 of these plants back in May but did not notice or did not pay attention to some black spots on the leaves and stems. I had followed instructions on maintaining them, left them in my sun room and occasionally move them to my dining area. There were a couple of new growths and was happy about it but when I noticed that the last growth was not getting bigger and black spots were getting bigger in many places I began to worry., I sprayed them with homemade insecticide, when that didn't work, bought the Neem oil organic insecticide but didn't do any good., Now all the leaves are almost gone (see photos).

                              The leaves closest to the bottom of the plant were browned when we received, similar to root rot. We did our best to repot but gradually each leaf browned and wilted when 3 weeks of receiving the plant and unfortunately we needed to discard within a month.

                                      Im knocking off a star bc It came with spider mites in the box and plant on the lower leaves. But its still VERY pretty so im going to try some different things to get rid of the spider mites and not let it spread to my other plants. It is beautiful though and wayyyy bigger than I thought it would be. And they packaged it well. Also, i went to home depot in person today and the fiddle leaf figs they has were around the same price and poor quality so this one was definitely nicer than what they had in the store today.
