Are we color blind???
Product is a solid epoxy coating, I got metallic blue Directions are nonsense. A little basic logic will quickly tell you this. When you pour from bottle to container you are creating air bubbles. Though if you tip transfer container like you would a beer mug you get less. Also if you pour part b in a 1 quart measuring bucket first then part a in the same bucket you get less than in separate containers. And do not transfer again! This negates first 3 min stir. Color isn't close!

Not bad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found that you have to follow the many instructions very closely, which can be difficult. Once the Resin and Activator are combined and poured out, the mixture is somewhat hard to control. Removing any bubbles from it can be tricky, but the glaze hardens well. Based on my experience, I'd recommend adding more than 1 coating to the item you're covering for optimal thickness.
Overall, this product isn't bad quality wise, but if you don't read and follow the instructions thoroughly, you're bound to encounter issues. In addition, I wish every item that's necessary to mix and maintain the ingredients was included.

Easy to use, cute results!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to make star tree toppers for my kids’ mini Xmas trees. They turned out super cute! I like the ability to use a small amount for a craft vs having to use all of each bottle. I did still have small bubbles in the stars, even though I followed the instructions exactly. They aren’t noticeable unless you look up close. The liquid is moveable for quite awhile after pouring it which was nice because I was able to use a popsicle stick to move the confetti to where I wanted it. It takes awhile to dry, def a minimum of 24 hours, 48 hours for best results. Overall would recommend this for fun, easy crafting!

Varathane resin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found Varathane gloss is a great resin. Directions were easy to follow. I put Varathane on the top and bottom shelf. You can see in the photo how clear the resin is. I am a newbie to the resin world but Varathane was super easy for this newbie.

I have yet to use this gloss as after having read the instructions and various reviews I am somewhat intimidated. I have never used a super glaze and am viewing videos of the proper use of this product before using it on my major project as I do not wish to utilize it improperly. I have seen what happens when using a product that you have never used before.

We got this varathane glaze on a few things.
It is super easy to do, instructions are very simple to follow. The aged wood stain is a dark stain with this clear epoxy finish. I used half of each container to test it out. Took some time to dry, as I would expect. Then it put this on on of my small tables. Wow. Looks great. I will try another color when I have another project.

This is a really good product, and fairly easy to use *if* you read all directions and make sure you have all the necessary tools at hand. What you essentially have here is tinted epoxy resin, so it comes in two different bottles and must be mixed in pretty much equal proportions. This has a quite long open time--takes about 6 hours to dry. That's great in that it lets you take your time in working with it, but has the draw back that if you're trying to use it in a dusty environment, you're going to have a bad time--the dust will get caught on the finish and will be there permanently.
Note that it does not brush on--you'll want a squeegee or at least a credit card or something along those lines to spread it. And clean up is a bit tough--you'll need a high VOC solvent like acetone or lacquer thinner.
But, if used properly, it does give a thick, high gloss finish with a nice gray tint, great for things like bar tops or table tops.
I've been using it for an off-label use, filling grain on open grained wood like oak. So you apply it quite thin, and then sand it back. It works amazingly well for this, and sands quite nicely without gumming up your sandpaper badly. It's comparable to West Systems epoxy, but at a fraction of the cost.

Super glaze is a wonderful product, although pricey. It does exactly what it says it will do, one coat equals 75 layers. The instructions for preparation and usage are clear and precise. Surface preparation is everything. After using a tack cloth I would suggest a wipe down with denatured alcohol to make sure there’s no contaminants on your surface.
