Coir is an organic byproduct of the coconut husk, so its an all-natural, lightweight growing medium that helps purify your food source. Receiving the Coir already fluffed up was a real time saver and easy application. I've used other coir products none of which are as consistent in quality. The grow medium produced outstanding results. The air porosity and water absorbing characteristics of this product are certainly a plus.
