Product Overview

  • Helps curb climate change
  • All-Natural and organic, low carbon footprint
  • Works for all plant types
A great beginning for any planting or gardening project. We mix OMRI-certified, Organic Coconut byproducts and other OMRI-certified Organic materials to produce this soil. The other organic materials provides the proper nutrient balance and pH to start seeds. Great for indoor and outdoor gardening.
  • Organic
  • As one of our earth’s friendliest soils, organic seed starter helps curb climate change by sequestering more stable carbon in your garden than peat- and compost-based products
  • Peat free: The UK has banned the use of peat, which naturally scrapes carbon from the air and moves it into the ground, in a stable form; our peat-free products reduce the mining of peat leaves and keep carbon in the ground, where it belongs
  • Protects watersheds by retaining your nutrients and reducing their presence in runoff
  • 45 day time released organic fertilizer
  • Contains 2-4 times the organic content of traditional compost
  • Made in Vermont
  • All natural and made from renewable resources
  • Works with all seed types
  • More carbon, less water: All our products sequester carbon to curb climate change and help reduce your use of water

Questions & Answers

Does this ned to be mixed with soil if starting in a pod indoors for transplant outside?

Asked by: gardener12
I did not mix it with anything. When the starts were ready they went into the ground or planters filled with either garden soil or potting mix.
