          Nice sturdy grass.
Slow but fills in nicely. About 40% will come in. But at the price, just keep putting down every few weeks and it will cover. I am doing an area 15 ft x 38 ft and it is slowly working.

So far, I'm able to get some bermuda grass to grow. Seeding is a great option if you already have grass and want to fill in a few bare/patchy spots at a low cost, or if you want to plant a new lawn on a fairly flat area. If you have a hill, I would recommend sod for new lawn implementations just because of the potential runoff in heavy rain while the grass is not fully established. Bermuda is considered a weed grass in some areas, but other areas love it. It spreads well and looks pretty good (in my opinion). It does require more sun than other grass varieties, though, so if you have a lot of trees, the bermudagrass may not do well under them. I got this seed a little early in the spring to plant outside, so for testing/review purposes, I planted a few seeds indoors in a small planter. I was able to get the seeds to sprout and will likely transfer the grass to a bare spot outside once the grass establishes itself a bit more. Not all of the seeds sprouted, but that may be due to my planting indoors and not enough sunlight. I also did not use any fertilizer in the soil.

Depending on how much of an area you have to cover, this one pound bag might not be enough. I only have a small area to cover so it should fill in ok. It is drought resistant which is great here in Florida. I have watered it every day for a week to get it to grow to fill in a thin area. So far it is coming in slowly, but I expect it to fill everything in just fine.

The Vigoro Bermuda grass seed is very clean, no hulls and each seed is coated to keep bugs from eating it or carrying it off. The coating also makes the seed hold moisture so it will germinate sooner. The instructions on the bag tell you everything you will need to know to get the largest amount of seed to take hold and start growing. The nighttime temperatures are slowing me down a bit but I am sure I will get a good area covered in green and stabilize the soil.

I put my seed down about a week ago just before it rained. The rain made it soak in nicely with digging. I usually loose seed to the birds but I didn't see them like usual. Maybe the seed coating kept them from eating it. I see some grass beginning to emerge and it's only been just over a week. Really impressed it's coming up so quickly. Seed package covered a large area of my yard with about a third of the package left.

VIGORO 1 LB. BERMUDA GRASS SEED BLEND WITH WATER SAVER SEED COATING is a very easy way to have nice Bermuda grass without the expense of sod. I have a small area that I am going to seed that previously was a mulched flowerbed. I wanted a quick and easy solution to have Bermuda in this area since my dog is allergic to other grasses and this can be her spot. I have to wait for the ground to warm enough to sow the seeds but I am sure I have more than enough needed to cover the exposed soil.

I don't know how much I can say regarding grass seed until it has actually grown but I will do my best. It is a very small bag but it is supposed to cover something like 1000 square feet I believe. Since we already have sort of a yard front and back but mostly weeds this is a good addition to the existing lawn. Reseeding it and once it grows and seeds again hopefully it will spread. It was easy enough to use. All I did was spread it around the yard as it had just rained. Hopefully something comes up!

Oh my poor Arizona lawn ... grass never does well here without a lot of water. The ongoing draught hasn't helped, either. Needless to say, my backyard is seriously in need of new grass, so I decided to try this Vigoro Bermuda Grass Seed Blend as I've always been very pleased with Vigoro products. The "water saver seed coating" looked especially appealing, given our dry climate. Saving water is always a big plus. The product is very straightforward. Just open the bag and sprinkle the seed. Just note that fresh seeds do require sufficient water to get started, so plan for that. I opened the bag, sprinkled the seed on the barest parts of my lawn, watered - and done. I'll continue to water at least once a day for the next week or so, or until I start to see new grass coming in. Easy-peasy. I'd recommend that the manufacturer make the bag re-sealable for customers who don't need to use the entire bag at one time. Otherwise, I'm very happy so far and eagerly looking forward to seeing my new grass come in.

The outdoor temperature hasn’t reached 70 degrees yet, so I haven’t planted my seed. However, I am experimenting with a small sample of seed to see how well they germinate (indoors). I placed a sample of seed on a damp paper towel on a sunny windowsill. It looks like they have begun to germinate and it has only been 2-3 days. The seeds look healthy. I plan to use them for filling in bare spots. I will spread a light layer of good potting soil, then sprinkle some seed, then sprinkle another light layer of soil on top of that, and gently water to avoid displacing the seed.

They work!! I have tried these seeds before and they work great! The seed is very easy to plant. I just lightly rake up the dirt in the bare spots, sprinkle a few seeds, rake the dirt back over the seeds, and then lightly water with my garden hose attachment set to ‘mist’. The hardest part is that I have to be patient while the seeds are growing. It takes about 2 weeks before I can see my new grass plants pop up thru the dirt and a few more weeks for the bare spots to be completely gone. Made in USA. Win-win!!
