Q:How many years is this netting rated to last when used outdoors? I am looking to use this netting over top of a strawberry garden (with cedar framing to hold it up). I don't want to have to replace this every year.

We've had a problem with neighborhood animals getting into our vegetable boxes. Putting this netting over our PVC tubing completely solved the problem. We really liked the product. Very easy to cover the boxes. It's very durable, easy to work with and is practically invisible which we like so we can still see our vegetables growing. We have recommended this product to various friends to use for their gardens.

Flying golf ball protection
Tested mesh for golf ball protection for backyard adjacent to golf course. Tested by hanging vertically from nylon line, lining up tor a golf swing into the net. Golf ball just bounced off after a little recoil or give of about 18 inches.
Should work to protect windows & people in lawn chairs. Plus it is almost invisible with the 5/8 in open mesh.

Netting is inexpensive and is a little difficult to handle by yourself but with a little patience...
Netting is inexpensive and is a little difficult to handle by yourself but with a little patience you will by ok, it tends to snag easy, which would be expected. Once installed over a pond to keep out birds it's practically invisible. Love it

Right Size, Good value
We have 45 ft long single row grape arbor with 7 vines. This fit perfect. We choose to drape over top and fasten together at bottom with wire ties. We probably could have stakes to the ground as well. Our vines are at 22 Brix and we expect to actually get a harvest and not share with birds.
I compared with commercial netting that cost more to ship then the netting cost. I would prefer a slightly heavier netting and slightly smaller weave.

Experimenting with a new idea
I've placed this mesh along the east side of my house where I have multiple AC compressors and some duct work. The cats love to come over and urinate on my equipment and in the fall the equipment can be covered in leaves and the leaves pile up in the hard to reach crevasses. So far this mesh seems to be discouraging the critters but it won't be for a few months that I see if it is effective against the falling leaves. I used small brass hooks to drape the mesh from the house soffit across to the top of the wooden fence (10 feet?). I don't expect it to stop all of the leaves but hopefully a large percentage of them. It shall be interesting to see how the rain and wind affect the leaves on the mesh.
