    A:  Wrong. They sell a 3 pack of brackets you screw down that these attach too. Not glue or epoxy. What a mess that would be.

    I am sorry that the shoe you ordered did not work for you. We do sell a couple different sizes in that shoe. It looks like the one you ordered was for 9/16" shoe for a 9/16" baluster. If you are still looking for the correct shoe for a 1/2" baluster in flat black our item# is 800964. For a 9/16" shoe the hole is 5/8" to receive a 9/16" baluster and for a 1/2" shoe the hole is 9/16" to receive a 1/2" baluster.. Hope this helps and you are able to finish your job. Thanks
