flimsy lightweight unspecified species from China. Possibly poplar? Technically hardwood but softer than some pines. Might be good for uprights in a railing or something decorative. I suggest offering ash, hickory, oak, etc. as an option to this.

Perfect

The description says hardwood, but they are made of pine.. the diameter is supposed to be 1-3/8" but they are only measuring at 1-1/4"
