I had to return these because I need PEX instead...
I had to return these because I need PEX instead of flexible hose. The casting was good and part would be beneficial if it had worked in my design.

Worked as expected. UPC tag should not have been placed over threads. Was difficult to remove but doable.

Hesitant to install
The hydrant is replacing a defective hydrant...The one inch pipe I will attach is already underground outside the barn. The one inch plastic pipe is an "exact" fit onto the elbow. . It has to be heated. So after cutting the pipe I I must find a way to heat it 3 feet down and attach it.
