Vivid Color
I bought both this Westinghouse bulb and the comparable Philips bulb. I prefer this bulb. It produces a bright and highly saturated ("vivid" or "deep") red light, whereas the Philips is more of a washed out pink color. This bulb has a red emitter and clear lens, not a white emitter with red lens - this is a good thing. My only complaint is that this bulb is only sold online whereas Philips is stocked in stores. Should be the other way around!
