Surprise “stain”
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this less than a month ago and a cloudy “mark/stain” has appeared on one of the burners. It s not on the top of the glass. What can be done? I am unable to add images.

Simple elegant = Whirlpool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We originally purchase a Frigidaire in April and it suffered a fatal electrical blow after the third use and when turning on two burners at the same time. We liked it because it was simple and elegant but it also broke. We replaced with this Whirlpool and it’s been great. We love the textured surface as it is more forgiving with fingerprints, spills and smudges etc. it’s a perfect compliment to the cabinet faces and under cabinet lighting.

Just over a year old
Bought this glass stove top back in March of 2022 and it was great at first but once we hit the one year mark with it installed the elements/burners in the stove started to go out. First it was one. Now we only have one working burner/element on it. I cook everyday, multiple times a day. Warranty didn’t cover to fix it and when they sent a repairmen through whirlpool they ended up charging me $200 just for him to tell me he couldn’t fix it and the warranty didn’t cover it. Don’t recommend!!!

Love this Beautiful Cooktop!
After scary reviews about keeping a white cooktop clean using cast iron pans, I cancelled my order. I use only cast iron, a large collection with some pieces being almost 50 years old, and I'm not going to switch. But I decided to give it a chance and reordered this white cooktop. I love its beauty and ease of cooking--it heats up quickly and keeps heat with regularity. But the great and unexpected thing is the ease of cleaning! I've been cooking several times a day for a month with cast iron, and the white stove is pristine and sparkling! My cast iron does leave brown marks from ancient grease build up on the bottom that I can't clean off. (It doesn't leave scratches because I don't drag pans across the surface.) I wipe up spills right away when I can (not from a hot burner), but sometimes spills leave a mess that looks frightful and seem they will never get cleaned. But it only takes less than a minute with a warm rag and razor to clean it perfection again, and then I buff dry and shine with a microfiber cloth. Once in awhile I use the cooktop cleaner. I think the secret is to always clean the stove after each use. But it's so easy and the stove so beautiful afterward that I actually enjoy cleaning it! The only one tiny thing I would urge the manufacturers to change is to complete the visual outline of the inside burner on the dual element. Having an incomplete circle is just...odd. But it does end up being a point of conversation about the psychology of shapes...

Great Cooktop With One Minor Correctable Flaw
The cooktop dropped right into the counter with only a small enlargement of the hole using a saber saw.
Its only flaw is that with a quick glance, you can’t see where the controls are pointing! For some unintelligible reason they did not color the index lines on the knobs!
Luckily, it’s an easy fix. I just got a fine point, white paint marker and very carefully filled in the index lines! Voilà!
Now I can see where the knobs point!
Easy to clean. Works well! Looks great! Very glad we have it!

Gorgeous stovetop
