How do you mount these to the wall
The corbels have key slots in the back side of each piece. This can be slid onto a screw to secure it to the wall.
The specs state that this item is 5.08 L x 7.08 W x 5.06 H. Are you sure of these dimensions? A 7.08" width doesn't fit the picture. Thanks.

Why do they say this piece is 6" x 8" when they know it is not - they even admit it here in the description?
Most wood products are sold in "nominal" dimensions that reflect the approximate dimensions of the rough sawn piece from which it made. For instance, a finished 2X4 is actually 1.5x3.5 inches after planing.
It’s an antiquated but traditional method of measuring wood products. You just have to be careful about that. It’s not meant to be deceitful, just following a trade protocol.
Wow! Don't ask me to go shopping for "2x4's" or "1x12's" with you. I was only 12 when I learned dimension lumber is always identified by the "pre-finished" rough lumber.
You should not be allowed to do any work with wood or lumber.
it is possible cut 6X8 when still wet. The Corbel also is marked for the shelf size.
