The Woodgrain Millwork 7/16 in. x 11/16 in. WM 129 Prime Finger-Jointed Base Shoe makes a great transition between base molding and flooring. Prime Finer-Jointed WM 129 Base Shoe can also be used to cover gaps where flooring surfaces meet base molding. Base Shoe is also used to cover small alignment challenges where hard surface flooring meets the wall.

This shoe moulding gets the job done. Its just as good as the shoe moulding being sold by other big box suppliers.
I recently installed 350 Linear Feet of this product during a home remodel. I painted all of it before I cut or installed it, and I didn't have any issues.
I purchased the shoe moulding in-store. I will say that you have to pay attention when selecting your wood (no matter where you buy it). All pieces are not going to be perfect, and if you want your job to come out "right", you need to hand pick and visually inspect each piece of trim. It also doesn't hurt to purchase an extra stick or two on larger jobs, just in case you missed something.

Home Depot's wood trim is always milled well, there isn't a lot of size variation between pieces so if you do need to splice then together you don't have to worry too much about them but matching up.
Primed trim makes it easy to paint.

I don't mind finger jointed under paint but when more carefully inspected I found way too many joints, many were 8" apart. You could also see most finger joints through the primer. The molding required sanding before painting and the primer is so low of quality the first coat of paint drags as you put it on and a wet edge is not possible to keep. With lots of sanding the top coat flowed well, but just too much unnecessary work on low quality trim material. Specialty shop next time for me.

Poor Quality
A lot of imperfection. I had to do heavy amount of sanding to a point I removed most of the primer. I wish HD stops selling these inferior products. Unfortunately, there is very little places you can go to buy millwork products anymore.

This quarter round trim is around 1/2” X 3/4” and was perfect to cap my Tile baseboards.This is wood and makes very clean cuts.Happy with this trim.

Service was very good as usual. The only downside was the finish of the primed quarter-round. Imperfections required sanding on several pieces which somewhat negates the benefit of buying primed. The poor condition of several pieces was not noticed until I got home and started the project.
