Product Overview

The 1 in. 600XLHR Pressure Reducing Valve handles sandy, debris-laden water systems for high-flow capacity in residential, commercial and new construction applications. It includes a spring range of 75 psi to 125 psi, factory set at 85 psi. It meets compliance with universal plumbing code. The stainless steel strainer includes a standard 20 mesh configuration and separate-access cover for simplified cleaning, while the bronze threaded bell provides superior corrosion-resistance and speeds access to the internals - together, cutting labor time up to 50%. Internal components of the 600XL utilize a balanced design, providing accurate downstream pressure without consideration of the incoming pressure.
  • Fiber union gasket ensures fast installation
  • Durable construction ensures low maintenance and lifecycle costs
  • Inlet pressure changes with balanced design features to protect the system
  • Stainless steel strainer screen features single-cap removal
  • Threaded bell provides easier access than bolted on bells
  • Low-lead law compliant
  • ASSE listed 1003
  • IAPMO listed
  • City of Los Angeles approved
  • Meets the requirements of NSF/ANSI 61
  • California residents

Rebuilt my 20 year old model twice in the past
This time the bore that seals against the o-ring has green pitting The rebuild kit is a bit spendy (~$40 for 3rd party or ~$70 for OEM) for what is typically needed (an o-ring $1-3 (definitely) and a rubber seal ( maybe) and some silicone grease ($4) O-ring 3/4” O.D. x 9/16” I.D. x 3/32" Danco #11 The rubber "Seal Ring" is only available in the rebuild kit and can be flipped to buy some more years... Some use a razor blade to cut down the rubber gasket in the Orbit Brass Valve Rebuild kit
