Could I use this for my baby to lay on?

AnswersYes, if on their back and you supervise, but not for unsupervised tummy sleeping as it is too fluffy and could obstruct breathing. Also would be concerned about cleaning up any spit ups or diaper leaks as it needs to be dry cleaned.

This sheepskin is gorgeous! The product specifications on the website are wrong in many instances. This product does not have any “Polyester, Latex, Other” backing material; the material type is not “Knotted”. It is just one plain old genuine sheepskin. Very generously sized and the pile is much thicker than the pile on other sheepskins I had. The skin itself is maybe on a stiffer side, but I can still use this sheepskin over a chair and it conforms to the shape of the chair easily. I am so glad I bought it!
