24 in. Slate Front Control Built-In Tall Tub Dishwasher with Dry Boost, 3rd Rack, and 47dBA

The older GE dishwater that came with my condo died and I wanted to stick with my four GE kitchen appliance set. I caught a nice sale price on a few up from base model. My new dishwasher not only has a stainless steel interior but also a few features my old one did not have (eg., a third rack for knives and kitchen utensils). I also see some little improvements here and their as well as my new dishwasher is very quite. So far cleaning is very good but do note that I rinse my plates. Even so, a great clean and no spotting via the short wash cycle. A plumber friend did the install so no review on Home Depo installation but delivery went. I live alone and only do a few loads a week so here's hoping for longevity. So far this guy be happy..

NOTHING BUT JUNK! ***DO NOT BUY*** General Electric is such a waste of time product. I tried getting dishwasher on more than one occasion & it’s a complete waste of time, money, and energy. On July 30th I was supposed to have this dishwasher installed & a field agent came to my home to check my hookup before installing. He told me that I would need a separate valve in order for them to install the dishwasher. So, I have taken a day off a work for no reason because I needed to have a separate valve put in that I knew nothing about. I thought that was confusing and weird because my former dishwasher didn’t need that at all. I called a plumber that I know and I spent $150 just to have a separate valve put in. On August 4th the delivery team came back to install the dishwasher. I ran one cycle a few hours later & the dishwasher just stopped working after 20 minutes. The dishwasher started beeping incessantly throughout the night & I couldn’t unplug the dishwasher without unscrewing and dismantling the unit & I didn’t want to be held liable for it. I immediately called their customer service and told them that I need a replacement. On August 8th a field agent came [no new dishwasher] to look at the unit. He saw that it wasn’t working properly and they made a note that it needed to be replaced. This is now DAY 3 of me taking off of work to deal with this nonsense. One August 11th the delivery team came to my house to replace the defective dishwasher. Once the team opened the box they showed me that the dishwasher was damaged with cracks and that it must have happened during packaging at their warehouse. I called customer service again and told exactly what happened and they assured me that there will be another dishwasher to replaced today on August 13th. Today I wake up around 7am and NO ONE from Home Depot contacted me about a time that the delivery team will be coming to install the new dishwasher. I called the customer service representative and they told me that the dishwasher will be delivered between 9am-1pm. At 11:37am this morning I called Home Depot to make sure that the team was coming. Another customer service representative told me that there was NOTHING SCHEDULED for today and that my order was cancelled. I then wound up being on the phone with 4 different departments of Home Depot’s customer service [INCLUDING THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE] from 11:37am until 4:10pm between 5 different phone calls and hold times between departments. Home Depot’s customer service is absolutely USELESS & INCOMPETENT. I waited for hours upon hours on hold times and every time I found someone who could help me, my call was redirected to another department [WHILE I WOULD BE ON HOLD FOR OVER 7-13 minute intervals] I would have to call back & explain the story all over again to someone new and that person would put me on hold over and over and over. It just so happens that some MORON in their office didn’t understand anything I was saying when told them I was sent a second defective dishwasher. They didn’t even speak proper English & pretending to understand me. The person canceled the entire order outright and I couldn’t get a straight answer about this until I was 3 and a half hours into phone calls with their corporate office. FINALLY I reached a person with a brain [Scott] who offered me a $500 gift card to go towards a new dishwasher. I was exasperated at this point and told him I want a FULL REFUND ON EVERYTHING [parts, installations, the works] and a gift card for my trouble of taking now 6 DAYS OFF OF WORK TO DEAL WITH THIS ISSUE. Scott obliged and I am getting a FULL REFUND & a gift card. I’ll probably by things that DO NOT require Home Depot’s INCOMPETENT delivery team to install. I’ll buy paint and cleaning supplies. I don’t think they can screw that up, right? I’ll NEVER waste my time buying ANY appliance from Home Depot EVER AGAIN!

Super bummed. Spent almost $1,000 dollars, with installation, only to have to call them back for a leak AND then find out the drying feature does not work...now we have to wait another 2 weeks to get that repaired. Very frustrating.

If anyone is truly considering this GE dishwasher, look elsewhere. I purchased an entire GE kitchen appliance package for nearly $4000 just two years ago expecting dependable, high-quality appliances. Instead, the dishwasher has been a nightmare from day one. From the moment it was installed, it failed to dry dishes properly. Every cycle ended with dishes, glasses, and silverware, still soaking wet. For a premium priced appliance, this is completely unacceptable and should never have been an issue. Now the dishwasher has caused far more serious problems. Multiple components underneath the unit have leaked, broken, or the terrible gasket design has allowed water to damage my kitchen. Those leaks have ruined my kitchen floor, damage the subfloor, and affected my cabinets. Once we thought one problem was solved, two more showed up! What should have been a reliable appliance has instead resulted in thousands of dollars in repair costs to my home. A dishwasher that is only two years old should not be failing like this, especially one from a major manufacturer. Spending thousands of dollars on a full GE appliance package gave me confidence that I was actually buying quality. That confidence was completely misplaced. This dishwasher has delivered poor performance from the start and now has caused extensive property damage. I would never purchase another dishwasher and would strongly caution anyone considering to think twice before spending their money on this one especially!

I love how the dishwasher property cleans all of our dishes and kitchen appliances.

So far it works wonderfully. We already had a GE washer/dryer, so we went with the dishwasher. We like it so we bought a fridge and stove too.

This dishwasher has been nothing but a headache. Since owning it for less that 2 years, we have already had to have work done on it and now its not working at all. Of course it is outside of the warranty window. If you think purchasing a "smart" dishwasher is the way to go, think again

The product was delivered with a dent on the corner. The utensil basket gets stuck on the seal when sliding the rack back inside. I’m so disappointed.

This has been nothing but a pain and disappointment. We’ve had to replace the top sensor twice in less than four months & it just went out again. The warranty is a joke as there is no one in our “service area”. I am responsible for finding someone to evaluate the problem and install the necessary parts and then the warranty will reimburse me up to $250. This whole thing has been a complete joke! By far the worst experience I’ve had purchasing appliances.

Bought and installed. Dishwasher worked on time. Bodewell came out and si it’s a bad control board. Waited a month. Now find out it’s out of stock. Without a brand new dishwasher for two months. Absolutely terrible experience. Do not buy this dishwasher. Last GE purchase I’ll ever make.
