Answer This Question
A: I really don't know how water affects the pellets because I distribute the pellets inside the holes and inside the tunnels and then close those holes. I cover the pellets to make sure above ground animals and birds don't eat them.

A: Hello, Amdro Mole and Gopher Killer bait is made from oats/grains to attract the moles and gophers. Once ingested the active ingredient reacts with moisture inside the mole or gopher to kill it. If the pellets get wet first they may not be as effective. Thank you.

Answer This Question
A: What is a gopher probe gun
by|Nov 20, 2022
A: I'm not sure what a "gopher probe gun" is. If you mean the long pointed metal probe with a small container at the top that drops bait througha hole in the bottom, then no, it will not work. The bait particles are rather large and need to be dropped directly into a hole.

A: I'd imagine it would do the job on woodchucks but, after seeing what it does to voles and mice, be careful to get it into the burrow and don't let it get anywhere local animals can get to it. The stuff works great and quick, but I can imagine it'll do serious harm to cats, dogs and other animals that might wander around places where its used...or if they decide to make lunch out of the carcass. The best way to apply the stuff is to get it directly into the burrow/hole and avoid getting it around the sides of the hole or in adjacent areas. If you have a dog that likes to dig into burrows, I'd try something else because this stuff might get in its system. But, it works very well for its intended purpose.
