A:  The description says 120 inches which would be 10 feet per piece, However, further down under dimensions it says product length is 12 feet. Which is it HD? There is a big difference between 100 feet and 120 feet per pack.

              Answer This Question

A:  This baseboard is made of MDF. MDF stands for medium-density fiberboard made from pressurized treated wood fibers, wax and a resin. MDF is similar to plywood, but it is more uniform in appearance and a stronger building material. THAT IS UNLESS IT GETS WET. Then all bets are off. In other words. It’s similar to particle board.

                A:  MDF Medium Density Fiberboard

                by|Feb 26, 2022

A:  It's made of MDF as in the description. MDF is Medium-Density Fibreboard is an engineered wood product made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibers, combining it with wax and a resin binder, and forming by applying high temperature and pressure. MDF is generally denser than plywood. It is stronger and denser than particle board. MDF does not to well in wet locations as it will absorb water.

A:  It is made of fiberboard and will fall apart if soaked.

                      by|Apr 1, 2024

A:  Yes, as long as it doesn't get soaked. In any case, MDF has to be painted to protect it. In a bathroom, you'll want to use gloss or semi-gloss paint.

                      by|May 6, 2021

A:  As long as you give it a coat of paint. The higher the gloss, the better it will be.

A:  These are 12 foot long or 144 inches long. The website has an error stating 120 inches. I just received an order of these and they are 12 foot long. Home Depot needs to correct the website.

A:  You do NOT have to use this same molding for your door trims, but that is a good option. Door trims normally butt against the floor, then the wall base trim butts against the door trims.
