A:  Not the easiest to clean, but I love it so much I am willing to deal with it. The pump and tube are all detachable. I clean it too ways. Most of the time I use my small shop vac. Suction all the water out, rinse and repeat. Generally twice a season I get in and do a deeper clean.

A:  I’m not an electrician. I did do that with with a pole light. I spliced the extension cord to the pole light cord and waterproof the connection. I buried the cord underground and plugged it into the outdoor grounded outlet. Works perfect for 15 years now. Just make sure you use heavy gage cord that does not cause a lot of resistance to the current. The power cord that came with the fountain is very heavy duty. Not your average household power cord. So I would match that or go heavier. That’s my opinion as backyard novice who is NOT an electrician.

A:  At pond supply store you can purchase algae growth inhibitors. I used this in a different fountain that’s gets a lot of sunlight. This fountain (that you have) hasn’t needed it since it doesn’t sit it sun. I also have a bunch of aquatic snails that hitch hiked on some water plants. 

A:  We recommend keeping this fountain inside during extreme weather conditions.

A:  It's very heavy when water is in it. I am not sure in freezing weather. I live in Florida so it runs 365/24-7.

A:  There is a video on this product. Go to Alpine Corporation or see it on Home Depot website. This fountain is very huge so can't imagine Home Depot giving up a large area to display this unit.

A:  You can adjust the water flow. Turn the adjuster counter-clockwise to increase and clockwise to decrease water flow.

A:  We recommend using distilled water to avoid scale build-up,
