Answer This Question
A: Unfortunately, they cannot customize the color at the store level. They mix latex-based broad wall paints and the Satin Enamels is an acrylic-based paint. The Satin Enamels are available is several pre-mixed colors and can be intermixed with other Satin Enamel colors to achieve the color you are targeting.

Answer This Question
A: The Satin Enamel paint should be ok for the recessed light baffle. However, we would strongly recommend that you let the paint fully cure for about 3-5 days prior to exposing it to bulb heat.

Q:I am using your chalk paint for my primer on rv cabinets. I would like to have a blue grey in your satin enamals as final coat. How would i achieve this color?

Answer This Question
A: It's difficult to say, since we don't have a swatch to match to and unsure if you want to lean toward the grey side or blue side. For a baseline, however, we offer the following: For a lighter blue/grey mixture start a sample mixture 1:1 of Seaside Blue and Grey Taupe. Or for a darker blue/grey mixture start with a sample mixture of 1:1 of Dark Denim and Smoke Grey. Then add more or less of blue or grey paint to achieve the desired color. Then you can mix their preferred color on a larger scale.

A: I used about 1 TBLS per 6 Oz. of Liquitex pouring medium & tsp of Liquitex soft body artist paint.
by|Mar 10, 2020
A: Per their product information on the jar, 2 coat coverage of 20 square feet. I have found that to be pretty accurate.
by|May 5, 2023
A: 2 coats 20 sq. Feet stated on the jar is very accurate. Use a smaller size roller (5” or so) as a regular sized one would suck up too much paint.

A: One 8oz jar typically provides 2-coat coverage on approximately 20 sq feet.
